Ok so the first thing I'd say that helps is give your Universe a general direction. Decide which wrestlers you want to use, which shows, titles, tag teams etc that you want. If you just want to use the base roster then that's fine! Then, I'd make a note of things that happen in your Universe. Things like title history, match cards, rosters etc.
