It is a bit off the beaten path but that’s what gives it its charm I’m sure.Before reading on,let me say that Valley of the Gods B & B is a must see if you are visiting Utah.Weather: Sunny, 61F. This curiously named town draws its moniker from a rock formation that, from some angles, resembles a sombrero, or a "Mexican Hat." The formation is about two and a half miles northeast of town. Mexican Hat is on Hwy 163, 20 miles southwest of Bluff where a bridge passes over the San Juan River. Valley of the Gods is part of the Grand Circle itinerary. The main road through Mexican Hat (US 163) heads northeast and eventually joins US 191 which goes north to Monticello and Moab, but before this it passes close to the Valley of the Gods.
