I also purchased a Spectrum and have issues with it. When the magazine is full it won’t chamber unless I remove at least two rounds from the magazine. I told Taurus of the issue, sent it in and they polished the feed ramp. I received it back and still have the same issue. 😮 Taurus's Spectrum was designed for concealed carry. This subcompact pistol weighs a hair over 10 ounces and carries six rounds in a flush-fitting magazine. The included extended magazine gives you an additional round and a little more surface area to the grip. It has low profile, fixed sights, a loaded chamber indicator, and an internal lock. I would definitely recommend trying it...it does have a cheaper feel to it and a long trigger pull, but it is a shockingly good gun for a budget of $200.The Taurus TX22 looks pretty good, and considering its price, it’s no wonder shooters are drawn to it. The slider serrations resemble those found on any standard 9mm slider. It’s laser etched at the front of the slide – a nice little touch that features the model’s name. The frame itself is also quite eye-catching.
