Since my last communication to you, Intermountain Health Care, in consultation with administrations of all Utah based Nursing and Medical Schools, has decided to limit student participation in Operating Room activities due to limitations in PPE resources needed for care of patients with COVID-19.Rocky Vista University, t he Office of Simulation in Medicine and Surgery (SIMS) was established in 2019 to promote more hands on learning experiences for RVU students through healthcare simulations.
