They have to stay within parameters of the agreement and differences will not vary between brands since both are under the same legal restraints.

I read that the Kimber 9 Micro 8-round magazine will fit without modification into a P938, and that doing so adds just a little more grip room for someone who needs it. At about $30, which includes shipping and handling, that's a pretty good solution for someone who may have issues holding the gun.

I have both P238 and P938. The P238 has never had any issues from new and I pocket carry every day in a pocket holster. The P938 is close to 3 years old and now after 3 trips to Sig. is running flawless for just under 500 rounds.

Went with the Micro 9. My buddy has the P938, likes it as well. The Sig has an external extractor and two-piece guide rod, but otherwise they are the same gun other than aesthetics. The guide rod is known to dismember and fly forward without warning. To me the Kimber is infinitely more attractive.

Have had both a 938 and two Kimber Micro 9's, they are almost twins, might of been the particular 938 I had but when taking it down to clean the barrel was hard to remove from the slide. Had to use a screwdriver and twist the barrel in the chamber area to get it to release. After reading this thread, I purchased a Kimber 8 round magazine for my P938. I put it through its paces today and it performed flawlessly. There was one minor hiccup however.
