The door opens and closes fine manually. I took the van to the dealer and they said it was a problem with the switch on the dash. They replaced that but it did not fix it.When you hit "balance" it shows a map of the car where you can move the sound from front to back. If you move it to the very back you just have to turn the volume up real loud to get sound from the front, but nothing from the back.
