Magus gets a lot in the way of better armor, some combat feats, and your bloodline capstone. Alongside better enchantments like vorpal. DD trades all of that for +4 STR, +2 INT, a bite attack doing about 2-10 damage I think, and some Nat AC. In short sticking to magus is about the same as focusing on DD.That is the biggest hurdle for this build imo. You won't be a full gunslinger, so won't have your way reload until later levels to help even out your action economy. And Magus in general is already pretty action starved.
