Biggest downside to the 92a1 is it uses a slightly different slide (based on the 96) that is not compatible with other 92 slides. 92a1s are usually Italian made whereas standard 92x is American. 92x has the lighter d spring (better trigger) and is available with the decocker only from the factory. Vertec vs ...20# spring is standard in the 92FS, 92G, Vertec, M9/M9A1 and 92A1 and there bound to be variants I'm forgetting. It's the standard spring for most 90-series pistols. Another thing to consider, the 92A1 is built on the 90two frame and will not fit other 92, M9A1 or vertec holsters. The M9A3 will fit all M9A1 and vertec holsters. This is what I was going to post.
