I shoot 22mag in a couple of my rifles, so I bought cylinders, so all 3 have both. I haven't used one in the 9" yet, but the other 2 shoot both just fine.

It won't do 50,000 rnds like a Ruger Single Six would, but it'll do several thousand. Don't dry fire it, w/ or w/o the safety on. You'll break the safety or peen the cylinders. Hard to do and hard to reach unless the screw driver is thin. Just loosen them. Now turn the gun over. Loosen the thrree on the lower receiver. Two right behind the trigger guard and on inthe front.The Ruger's loading gate felt much more solid, and stayed open better for takedown, than the Heritage's did. The Wrangler takes this one too - wider, more comfortable and taller in the grip frame.
